Returns & Refunds Policy

1. General Policy

  • Due to the perishable nature of food items (pickles, sweets), returns are generally not accepted once delivered.
  • Exceptions apply if the product is damaged, spoiled, or incorrect at the time of delivery.

2. Eligible Returns

You may request a return or replacement if:

  • The wrong product was delivered.
  • The product was damaged during delivery.
  • The product is spoiled or unsafe to consume.

3. Non‑Returnable Items

  • Opened or partially consumed food items.
  • Products returned without original packaging.
  • Items returned after the allowed time frame.

4. Kirana Items

  • Non‑perishable kirana items may be returned if unopened and in original condition.
  • Returns must be initiated within 1 day of delivery.

5. Courier Requirement

  • Customers are responsible for couriering the return items to the official Pickle House address:
    Burma Camp, Visakhapatnam
  • Items must be dispatched by the customer on the same day or the next day after delivery.
  • Courier charges are borne by the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part.

6. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (e.g., PhonePe).
  • Processing time: 5–7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
  • Customers will be notified once the refund is initiated.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation) must be provided.
  • Customers may be asked to provide photo or video evidence of damaged/incorrect items before shipping them back.
